Shopping, Six Flags, and a big boat…..

6 Jul

That’s what vacation consisted of…. Shopping day with the girls, a day at six flags with the kiddos, and then a 4-day cruise to the BAHAMAS!

It was a postponed Mothers Day present that we have done for… 3 years now! Always look forward to it! And Peter met us for dinner… at of course… Olive Garden! 🙂

After exhausting day number one, it was on to exhausting day number two at six flags! Had a lot of fun with the kids… rode some roller coasters, and it wasn’t that busy so it wasn’t too hectic!

So, Gina took the kids on the Dahlonega Mine Train while we all went on another ride…. and go figure… it got stuck! haha… near the end of the ride on the UP ramp! So Gina took out the camera and told them to put their arms up to prove they were on a roller coaster…. Blake was NOT happy… hahaha… priceless….

And then we saw Lil’ Bow Wow so we chased him down and made the kids get a picture with him… haha…

So I ended my vacation with a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas with Bubba and his parents. Needless to say, I was TERRIFIED…. I tried to play it cool in front of them because I didn’t want them to think it was a wasted trip… but after the initial, “OMG I AM ON A HUGE SHIP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN!” I just didn’t think about it too much and I was ok…. 🙂 See, the middle of the ocean is my absolute biggest fear… you have no clue what’s under you and it’s SO INCREDIBLY DEEP… it’s a whole other world down there!! And YOU’RE TRAPPED ON A BOAT! The only way to get rescued from the huge ship if something were to happen is to get on a MUCH SMALLER lifeboat and search for help… hahaha… yes… all that goes through my mind… But, in the end, I had a blast and actually WOULD go on another one! 🙂 hahaha… Here is just a handful of photos from the trip… All the photos can viewed on my flickr site here.

My one and only, ALMOST freak out moment... don't let the smile fool you....

Ok.. so this sequence is all within about 3 seconds... as we walked closer to the bird it literally threw the break in the air and gulped it down in one swallow.... it was hilarious...
